It is shocking to discover how loyal pets are abandoned by their owners. This is a Story of a little 8 months old Female German Shepherd – CHOCOLATE, who is just one of so many pets who are abandoned every day. Chocolate, a young loyal pet waited desperately for her family. It was late evening, she was all alone, with no food and water. All she did was wait for her family to take her away with them. A security guard informed a member of Wings & Tails Foundation about Chocolate. The member arrived immediately at the spot along with a volunteer. All of a sudden, Chocolate started chasing a scooter. She was followed by the member. She jumped on the scooter and wagged her tail. The scooter was made to stop and to everyone’s surprise, the scooter driver was chocolates very own master. The boys pushed Chocolate away. After interrogation, they declared that they did not want the chocolate to stay with them and fled. Chocolate failed to understand this betrayal and ran after them hoping to regain their love. Little did she know that she had been abandoned and would never see her family again. WINGS & TAILS FOUNDATION members and many other volunteers worked day and night looking for a suitable forever family for abandoned Chocolate.
After numerous house checks, we found a loving family for her. Sarthak’s Family where she was adopted and renamed her DAISY. Now, Daisy is very happy in her new family and found a new
loving friend – Sarthak.

A little pup was found, wrapped in a wet cloth bag on the streets in Ramesh Nagar on a rainy evening. The children playing outside informed one of the WTF members. The pup was alive. She was fed, looked after, and kept in a warm blanket. She was treated in Sanjay Gandhi Hospital. She was weary and weak. She was fed well for 2 months and kept safely at home. We then found a forever family who was interested in keeping her. They named her ‘MAVIE’ (French) meaning ‘MY LIFE’ in English. Today, she is healthy and happy often seen running around in their garden.

A black female labrador approximately a year old was abandoned in model town. WTF members found her in a very bad condition. She was full of ticks and suffered from some skin infection too. She was scared and was looking for her family. She didn’t let us touch her. With the help of a volunteer, we offered her some food and water to win her trust and we finally were able to rescue her. She was taken to a vet for treatment and vaccination. Later she was put to a paid boarding for appx 6 months. Meanwhile, continuous efforts were made to find a loving family who could keep Cheeni forever. After a house check, a family was finalised. Mr.Vaibhav and his family adopted CHEENI. Now CHEENI is living like a princess in Vaibhav’s Home

An abandoned American spitz was rescued by Wings and tails member from Kirti Nagar road. He was badly injured. Having deep maggot wound and cotton was stuffed into his wound. He was scared and running here & there in search of his owner. He doesn’t know how to protect himself from strays. It took us near one hour to catch him After treatment he was being adopted by Mr Deepak
